With your help we can award more scholarships.
The Carney-Metzger Educational Endowment Fund—is a simple concept. Any amount you contribute adds to the principal, which cannot be spent. Only the earnings can be used to aide in the educational advancement of these individuals. The larger the principle balance, the more individuals we can help.
Thus Far, through your contributions, ten (10) $1,500, (4) $2,000 scholarships and one (1) $750 scholarship has been awarded to further the education of youth.
At this time, one scholarship is awarded to a high school senior at each of the following schools:
- Highland Academy
- Madison Academy
- Harbert Hills Academy
The Endowment Fund has also begun to award to an eighth-grader (8th) who will be attending an Adventist Academy a scholarship. This scholarship is currently awarded at Highland Elementary. With your help we hope to expand the scholarships available at this level.
