Our Goal
We are excited to help out students who would not be able to attain additional education otherwise. Our goal is to give scholarships to students who have no higher than a 3.0 GPA, who have gotten into trouble or had a difficult life and are striving to overcome their obstacles. We look for students who might not get a scholarship another way. We are not looking for 4.0 students who will be able to get scholarships easily through other means.
How We Do It
The Carney-Metzger Educational Endowment Fund is a simple concept. Any amount you contribute adds to the principal, which cannot be spent. Only the earnings can be used to aide in the educational advancement of these individuals. The larger the principle balance, the more individuals we can help.
